Details:
Sometimes email is marked as SPAM when it is actually good email. On the other
hand, sometimes Spam Guardian routinely thinks email is good (ham) when it is
truly spam. Some email addresses you simply may not wish to hear from.
If you are missing good emails from the same person over and over, you may
want to add that person (Or their entire domain, or even everyone from that IP
address) to your whitelist.
The process is the same for the blacklist, they are simply entered in different
fields.
- Start Plesk
- Click the Spam Guardian button
- Click the wrench icon next to the domain you wish to manage
- Enter the email address, domain, etc. that you wish, in the appropriate fields.
Wildcards are permitted. The asterisk (*) is called a wildcard and can stand
for any string of characters. The question mark is used to take the place of any
individual character (example, in the whitelist section,
*@neverspams.com would mean "treat any email address from
neverspams.com as good email". Or *@thisdomain.??? would allow mail
from thisdomain.com or thisdomain.org or thisdomain.net....)
- Click the Add button to accept the new entry
